I'm so happy we finally have a coffee shop like Spruce in this area. The concept is amazing and up to par with the Third Wave coffee shops you find in San Francisco. Drinks are perfectly crafted by a really high skilled barista and there's an assortment of delicious pastries and sweets to match the expansive drink menu.

I was blown away when I found this amazing coffee shop in San Bruno/South City and absolutely love the decor and overall vibe of the place. I used to drive to San Francisco all the time when I wanted to enjoy a really good cup of coffee but I'm thrilled that now I can support a local business and enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee close to home.

We had a matcha te with extra matcha, a ritual coffee latte, a cheese and sausage turnover, and a mushroom, thyme and cheese turnover. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious.

Only complaint is that there isnt really any organic milk options

Great place to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend or to study. They play background music, but it wasn't too distracting if you're studying.

Besides the ambience, the drinks here are bomb as well. I ordered the cappuccino with condensed milk in it. Forgot what it was called, but it was suggested by the guy helping me. I told him I wanted something with a ton of caffeine since I was going to be studying. He did not steer me wrong. Would totally order it again when I'm back! I saw a table next to me with a HUGE cinnamon roll, looked good. Might have to try next time lol

Def recommend their cappuccino with condensed milk, but planning to try their kombucha on top next time, cuz why not?

This is really a whole in the wall. Like I'll be honest, I thought this was abandoned building all these years until I actually came in haha. Interior would be nice if it was set up better, but that's just me.

I ordered the rose latte iced because it was hot that day. The rose taste was pretty faint. The baker who they order their crepe cake from is delicious! How ever I don't know if they left this in the fridge where temp is too cold but on top of that sprinkle more matcha powder on the crepe that is tasted horrible. It's like I ate powder! I recommend to this cafe put it in a cooler fridge and don't add on MORE matcha powder. It's like you were trying to have me do the cinnamon challenge * slaps forehead with palm of my hand*. This crepe is truly delicious, I've had it at another cafe. But here? I have no idea what happened.

I wouldn't come here unless I'm next door washing my car and wanted to kill time. I'll probably order something different then and if my opinion changes, I'll update my review.

Came here specifically for any crepe cakes and I got the last of what was available. The Hokkaido milk Mille crepe cake was the bees knees. So delicate and not overly sweet. I was disappointed in the matcha crepe cake. It was so bitter that I could only have one bite. The creme brûlée cheesecake was okay and the tiramisu was yummy. I also ordered the nitro cold brew but would not recommend. It was too acidic.
